Ceramides are lipids (fats) that are naturally found in the outermost layers of skin. Ceramides help to hold skin cells together and form a protective barrier that locks-in moisture. Although ceramides are commonly depleted during the aging process, they can and should be replenished over time to help keep your skin bouncy, smooth and youthful.

CeraLOK™ is a Japanese-origin ceramide derived from rice (not wheat, like other ceramides on the market). 40 mg of CeraLOK™ supplies 1.2 mg of glucosyl ceramides and has been shown to improve skin hydration, skin elasticity, skin smoothness, and skin barrier function when consumed orally.
