NOW Waxy Maize is a complex starch derived from non-GMO corn that consists of 90% Amylopectin, a high molecular weight, multibranched polysaccharide. Due to its complex structure, Amylopectin is slowly absorbed by the body; but once absorbed, it is easily assimilated by muscle tissue and converted into glycogen. Glycogen is a stored carbohydrate that serves as a sustained pool of glucose that the body readily uses for energy production during exercise. Suggested Use

Mix 1 level scoop into 16 oz. of water or juice. Consume before, during and after intense exercise for best results. Double this amount if engaging in prolonged exertion of 2 hours or more.
